Overview:
The District Attorney's Office seeks recent law school graduates for a paid internship/fellowship with the our office.

Only individuals who have completed law school and have taken the July 2026 Colorado Bar exam will be considered.

As an intern, students will be drafting motions, do research, and assisting during trials. Internships are available at both our Loveland and Fort Collins locations. We anticipate hiring 2 recent graduates into full time (40 hours/week) positions.

You must include a cover letter addressed to Amanda Duhon, Chief Deputy District Attorney.

Responsibilities:
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assisting attorneys in assigned courtrooms or units with various tasks.
  • Working closely with Deputy District Attorneys to gain hands-on experience.
  • Observing and learning the role of a practicing prosecutor.

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • An interest in courtroom work.
  • Familiarity with common legal research techniques.

Supplemental Information:
It is expected these employees will work full time, but in a temporary position will not be eligible for benefits other than accruing 1 hour of sick leave per 30 hours worked.
