Description:
Position Overview:We are seeking a Social Security Disability Hearing Attorney to represent claimants at hearings before Administrative Law Judges. This role is well-suited for experienced SSD attorneys looking for a fully remote position, as well as attorneys new to SSD practice who are interested in administrative law and client advocacy. Training and ongoing support are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Social Security Disability hearings before Administrative Law Judges
- Review and analyze medical and vocational evidence in preparation for hearings
- Communicate with and prepare clients for hearings via phone or video
- Draft pre-hearing and post-hearing briefs, as needed
- Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting applicable deadlines
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred (But Not Required):
- Prior experience with Social Security Disability or administrative hearings
- Experience conducting client hearings or representing clients in administrative proceedings
Compensation & Incentives
- Starting salary: $75,000+, commensurate with experience
