Description:
About the role:Your day may start with someone from the content team asking you if we can dress up a dog like Pac Man for a photo shoot. (The answer is “no”, but you'll recommend something clever as an alternative and everyone will high five like in one of those stock photo images. Teamwork!) By afternoon, you could be negotiating IP rights with major sports leagues for our next sunglasses launch. In between, you'll tackle high stakes retailer agreements, catch a lunch presentation on sourdough starters, and support every corner of our business.
Ok. Maybe all that won't happen in one day, but you get an idea for the variety of ground you'll cover on a day-to-day basis. Put another way, you will not get bored here. You will be asked to do just about everything, within all parts of the goodr organization.
That said, for juxtaposition, here are a few things that will not be part of your role:
- A sisyphean treadmill of billable hour requirements
- Getting calls at 3pm on a Sunday asking if you wouldn't mind coming into the office to finish off that memo so we can file it at 7am on Monday
- Constant references to the Bluebook

- Own your team's budget and ensure its accuracy
- Use imagination and wisdom to set team goals and communicate them clearly
- Challenge the status quo ALWAYS; the phrase “this is how we've always done it” is banned here at goodr, so don't be afraid to push out of your comfort zone and encourage your team to do the same
