Job Summary: A Government Entity Prosecuting Attorney's office is seeking applicants for an entry level position of Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. This position represents the County in criminal matters in District Court and may include appearing in Superior Court as required. This position may advise the Board of Commissioners, Elected Officials, and Department Heads in various civil matters concerning county government. Deputies are expected to take part in occasional ex-officio coroner duties as needed. The Adams County Prosecutor's Office offers manageable caseloads, greater prosecutorial autonomy, and advancement opportunities.

Candidates must be a member in good standing of the Washington State Bar Association, or a recent law school graduate awaiting Bar result. Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License or the ability to obtain one prior to the start date. Oral and written communication skills are essential. Prior prosecution experience not required.
