The Nevada County District Attorney's Office Is Seeking a Dedicated, Ethical, and Community-Minded Attorney Iii to Join Our Team in Truckee, California. This Position Serves as The Primary Prosecutor Assigned to The Truckee Office, Handling the Full Spectrum of Criminal Cases Arising from The Truckee Area—from Misdemeanors Through Serious and Violent Felonies.

- Managing a Broad Range of Criminal Cases, Including Misdemeanors, Felony General Crimes, Crimes Against Persons, Property Crimes, Narcotics Offenses, Dui Cases, Domestic Violence, and Other Criminal Matters Arising in Truckee.
- Conducting Legal Research and Analyzing Evidence.
- Reviewing Reports, Digital Evidence, Recordings, and Witness Statements.
- Evaluating Cases and Making Appropriate Charging Decisions.
- Negotiating Case Resolutions and Litigating Contested Matters.
- Preparing for And Conducting Jury Trials, Preliminary Hearings, and Evidentiary Hearings.
- Collaborating with Local Law Enforcement Agencies, Victim Advocates, and Justice System Partners.
- Developing Case Strategies and Independently Managing an Active Caseload.
- Prosecuting Criminal Matters in Accordance with California Law and The Highest Ethical Standards.

Salary & Benefits:
- $139,024.92 - $169,720.80 + 10% Truckee Differential Annually (doe/doq)
