DDA II: $7,335.12 to $10,321.24 per month

Today Clatsop County Is One of Nine Home Rule Counties in Oregon. Five Non-Partisan Elected Commissioners Set Policy and Appoint a Full-Time County Manager, Who Is Responsible for Daily Operations. County Services Are Provided Through These Divisions: County Administration (county Manager), Assessment and Taxation, Budget and Finance, County Clerk, Juvenile, Public Health, Public Works, Community Development, the District Attorney, and Sheriff's Offices. the County Also Administers a Road District, a Rural Law Enforcement District, and A Local Sewer District.
The Position:
The Purpose of This Position Is to Perform Professional Legal Work in The Investigation, Preparation, and Presentation of Cases Prosecuted by The District Attorney, Primarily Within Circuit Court.
This Is a Full-Time Exempt Position Reporting to An Elected Official and Is Represented by Afscme Local 2746, District Attorney. Recent Graduates that Have Taken the Oregon State Bar Exam Are Encouraged to Apply.

- Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree and Admittance to The Oregon State Bar.
- Previous Court Experience Not Required.
- Deputy District Attorney Ii
- Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree and Admittance to The Oregon State Bar.
- One (1) to Two (2) Years of Experience as A Prosecuting Attorney.
Desired Qualifications:
- Deputy District Attorney I
- Prior Experience in Criminal or Civil Litigation.
- Deputy District Attorney Ii
- Prior Experience in Criminal or Civil Litigation in A District Attorney's Office.
- Experience in Felony Prosecution.
