Description:

Duties: Under the direction of the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and/or the Deputy Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and/or a supervising Deputy Attorney General 2, the Deputy Attorney General (DAG) 4, Ethics & Compliance, will provide legal support to the Ethics & Compliance Office. The DAG 4, Ethics & Compliance, will assist in the provision of ethics advice and support to employees throughout the Department, including with regard to attendance at events, outside activity and conflicts of interest. This individual will also assist with performing investigations, writing reports, and providing training to employees on Department policies. The DAG 4, Ethics & Compliance, will also serve as an Ethics Liaison Officer for the Department and perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements:
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor. Admission to practice as an Attorney at Law in the State of New Jersey is required.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a practicing attorney.
  • License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
