Job Summary:
Are you looking for a growing organization to plant your roots and be a part of? We are seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent research and writing skills, ability to handle a diverse caseload, and 2-5 years litigation experience. The Associate Attorney will work closely with a Managing Attorney and our Shareholders to represent clients in various legal matters, including litigation, transactions, and advisory services.

  • Manage a team of associate attorneys, paralegal, and administrative assistant.
  • Conduct legal research on various issues and provide analysis and interpretation of statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Interview clients, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information and evidence for cases.
  • Analyze and assess potential risks and liabilities associated with legal matters and provide strategic advice to clients
  • Collaborate with Shareholders and legal staff to develop case strategies and trial preparation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
  • Delegate effectively to associate attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar association.
  • 3-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in the relevant practice area.
  • Strong academic record with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of substantive and procedural law relevant to the practice area.
  • Experience with legal research tools and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and areas of law.
