Job Description and Salary
ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking an associate to join the 3rd through 5th year associate class for its Privacy and Data Security practice group in any of our office locations. The ideal candidate should have experience with international, federal, and state privacy laws, including the GDPR, the CCPA and other state-level comprehensive privacy laws, BIPA, CIPA, COPPA, FCRA, FERPA, the FTC Act, GLBA, HIPAA, and VPPA. To that end, we seek a candidate with experience in preparing and reviewing privacy policies, data protection agreements, privacy and security provisions of contracts, privacy impact assessment, transactional privacy and security due diligence and agreement negotiations, incident response, and regulatory investigations. Experience with adtech, privacy litigation, and AI regulation is a plus. Candidates must have strong academic credentials, possess strong time management skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $240,000 to a maximum of $305,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive bonus program with opportunities for discretionary incentives that may include productivity, business development, and merit-based components, subject to applicable policies.
