About the role:We are seeking a driven and self-sufficient DWI Criminal Defense Attorney to join our Charlotte-based criminal defense practice. This is a full-time position for an attorney who can independently manage their own caseload and personally handle every DWI lead call that comes in. You will have a dedicated phone line exclusively for DWI inquiries and are expected to be responsive and proactive with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and handle your own docket of DWI and criminal defense cases from start to finish
- Respond to every DWI lead call—you will have a dedicated DWI lead phone line
- Conduct client consultations, case evaluations, court appearances, and negotiations
- Travel to local courthouses as needed (travel expenses covered)
- Maintain client communication and provide high-quality legal representation
- Participate in developing legal strategies and working closely with our internal team

Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing with the NC State Bar
- Must be able to handle your own case load independently
- Must answer and manage all DWI lead calls personally
- 1+ year of experience in criminal defense preferred (DWI-specific experience is a plus)
- Strong communication, organizational, and courtroom skills
- Must be local to or willing to relocate to the Charlotte, NC area
