Description:
Our firm is currently seeking a full-time, Remote, Criminal Defense Attorney.Only individuals residing in the state of Florida are currently being considered for this position.
Requirements:
- Former prosecutor or public defender preferred, but not required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience handling general criminal defense cases
- Florida Bar license required
- Strong understanding of the Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure
- Ability to effectively communicate and work closely with clients
- Ability to manage a full caseload
- Must have criminal trial experience
- Ability to develop case specific legal strategies to best advocate for our clients
- Resume, writing samples and references required
Responsibilities:
- Manage every stage of the criminal defense proceedings
- Handle discovery matters and conduct motions practice
- Prepare for and attend depositions
- Attend court for pre-trials, motion hearings and trials
