About Position
- Represent clients in both misdemeanor and felony cases.
- Developing effective defense strategies and negotiate favorable plea agreements with prosecutors.
- Taking cases to jury trial when needed.
- Effectively communicating with clients about their legal rights, options, and potential consequences of various courses of action.
- Managing case files efficiently while maintaining compliance with law firm procedures and deadlines.
About You:
- JD degree from an accredited law school as well as admission to the Texas state bar with a valid license to practice law.
- Minimum of 2 years of criminal law experience either as a prosecutor or defense attorney.
- Proven experience with jury trials, including felonies.
- Excellent communication skills.
