Glantzlaw is looking for an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney or former Prosecutor with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience handling criminal cases to join our team for a position based in Broward County. Prior work on federal criminal cases is a plus.We are seeking an attorney who can provide quality legal services to our large, diverse client base. Our ideal candidate will work passionately and effectively to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify and determine case strategies with options for resolution
- Preparation of legal documents such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
- Maintain time and billing records, set up meetings with clients and timely completion of tasks
- Argue in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action
- Qualifications Needed:
- Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to handle a heavy caseload with little supervision
