Description:Our busy law firm is growing, and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners and administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. Responsibilities:
- Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks
- Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
- Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects
- Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
- Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
- Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
- Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
- Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
- Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required
Compensation:
$120,000 – $150,000 yearly commensurate with experience
