Overview:Hladik Onorato & Federman LLP., a multi-office national firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in creditor rights, litigation, and municipal law, and will be comfortable managing matters independently while collaborating with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle creditor rights matters, including collections, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and related proceedings
- Represent clients in state and/or federal court litigation from inception through resolution
- Advise and represent municipal clients on a range of legal matters, including compliance, governance, and enforcement issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and legal memoranda
- Conduct discovery, depositions, hearings, and court appearances
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Manage caseload efficiently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in [State] (or ability to waive in)
- 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably including creditor rights and litigation
- Experience with municipal law or public-sector representation strongly preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Professional demeanor and strong client-service orientation
