Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Partner to join our Immigration group. The Counsel/Partner will have substantial experience advising businesses and/or individuals on complex employment- based immigration matters. This role will be located in our New York office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a caseload involving business and/or employment-based immigration matters
- Provide counsel and advise clients on immigration strategies, compliance and risk management
- Handle and oversee matters involving nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories, including H1-B, L-1, E-2, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-5, PERM, adjustment of status, and related matters, as applicable
- Prepare, review and ensure the quality of immigration filings and petitions
- Stay current on changes in immigration law, regulations, policies, and adjudication trends
Qualifications and Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York.
- 10+ years of experience of immigration law, with a strong background in business and/or employment-based matters.
- Strong legal research, analytical writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client matters.
- Exceptional attention to detail, judgment, professionalism, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

- This position is a hybrid position based out of our New York office, with 3 days onsite (Monday is a mandatory onsite day).
