Hims & Hers is seeking an enterprising and creative Product Counsel to join our growing and collaborative Legal team. As Product Counsel, you will provide teams across the company with practical legal advice supporting the development, launch, and promotion of Hims & Hers products and solutions. You will get to work on interesting and novel issues that arise from the intersection of healthcare, technology, and e-commerce. The successful candidate will be proactive and organized with a team-oriented mindset, a positive attitude, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a remote environment.

You Will:
  • Partner with our Product, Growth, and Marketing teams to provide legal support on category development, new and existing solutions, marketing and educational materials, and digital product design
  • Identify privacy and regulatory issues and collaborate with Regulatory and Privacy Counsel team members to align on clear, actionable legal guidance
  • Review customer-facing promotional content, including advertising, website content, social media posts, and product packaging, for compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Provide practical, business-focused, solutions-oriented, clear, and concise legal guidance
  • Develop relationships and build trust with business partners
  • Stay informed on product developments, business objectives, and the ever-changing legal landscape affecting the business

You Have:
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction
  • 4+ years of experience post law school graduation practicing at a law firm and/or in-house advising business teams on the legal aspects of their promotional and e-commerce activities, including experience with FTC laws and regulations and state consumer protection laws
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong business judgment and creative mindset

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience advising on FDA-regulated products
  • Experience advising on intellectual property issues, such as trademarks and copyrights
  • Working knowledge of US and state consumer privacy laws and healthcare privacy laws
