As Counsel, Litigation, you will play a key role in providing legal guidance and support across the organization, with a focus on litigation matters. You will partner with business leaders and internal stakeholders to manage legal risk, resolve disputes, and deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions that support company objectives.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide legal support for a broad range of litigation matters.
  • Manage primarily defense litigation dockets.
  • Develop case strategies, case plans, and budgets.
  • Oversee and direct outside counsel.
  • Conduct risk analyses and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure effective cost management aligned with business priorities.
  • Represent the company in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and court proceedings.
  • Support dispute resolution through negotiation, settlement, or trial as appropriate.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver clear legal advice.
  • Guide business decision-making and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • Draft and review legal documents.
  • Interpret policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients.
  • Manage complex legal issues and provide practical, business-focused solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in legal processes and overall service delivery.

What You'll Bring – Required
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas or another appropriate jurisdiction
  • 5 or more years of litigation experience managing complex legal matters

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Range:
This position has a base salary range of $175,500 - $214,500.
