Senior Democratic member of the Judiciary Committee is seeking a proactive, experienced Counsel to work on a variety of issues that fall under the Committee's jurisdiction. Issues may include antitrust, civil rights, consumer protection, criminal justice, intellectual property, oversight, and other topics. Responsibilities may include developing, monitoring, and managing legislation; preparing for hearings; working with stakeholders and federal agencies; and drafting memos and talking points. Qualified candidates should be entrepreneurial; possess excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills; and work well in a fast-paced, team environment. Law degree required and preference for applicants with at least five years of legal experience.
