General Purpose of The JobCounsel will join the dynamic Everside legal team supporting Everside Health and its subsidiaries, reporting to the General Counsel. The position will advise on a wide variety of legal areas, including contracting, risk management, privacy and data sharing, employment matters, and regulatory issues across 34+ states. This position is based at Everside's Headquarters' Offices in Denver, Colorado but can be remote. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, solutions-oriented attorney passionate about our mission to improve health care in the US.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Counsel will be a key partner to the business, needing to understand the strategy and growth trajectory of the company and assisting the business with solutions to reach our collective goals. Counsel will need to be responsive and provide actionable legal advice to internal clients.
Counsel will work closely with many of the teams across Everside, including but not limited to Sales, Operations, Clinical, IT, and HR. Counsel will assist the Sales team in meeting our growth goals by timely supporting contract negotiation. Counsel will support the Operations and Clinical teams in providing exceptional patient care by providing regulatory advice. Counsel will partner with the HR Team on employee relations matters and new developments in labor laws.
Minimum Qualifications:
- JD or LLM from a recognized U.S. law school and current license to practice in the United States, required
- 3-10 years of law firm and/or in-house legal work experience required
- Previous health care experience, strongly preferred.
- Highly flexible, adaptable and willing to continuously shuffle priorities
- Self-starter, able to build strong relationships and earn the confidence of the business
- Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- A strong team player who can work well with business colleagues in all functional groups
