We are seeking an attorney with 8+ years of experience to join our Healthcare Group as a Counsel in our San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles or Orange County offices. We are seeking an experienced healthcare attorney to join a sophisticated practice representing hospital medical staffs and peer review bodies across California.The successful candidate will advise medical staff leaders and healthcare stakeholders on governance, credentialing, bylaws compliance, and peer review matters, while also supporting hearings, drafting key governance documents and handling related disputes and litigation. This position involves close collaboration with physicians, executives, and institutional clients, requiring professionalism, discretion and the ability to distill complex issues into practical guidance.
Candidates with backgrounds in healthcare regulatory work, litigation, administrative law, employment law, professional licensing or complex counseling are encouraged to apply. Prior experience with medical staff law, peer review, credentialing, or hospital governance is strongly preferred. Admission to the State Bar of California is required.
The salary range for the position of 8+ year counsel at Nossaman is $175,000 to $230,000 annually. The successful candidate's salary for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate's qualifications and experience. Counsel roles at Nossaman are not on partner track.
