This Counsel role will provide legal support for An American Multinational Retail Corporation Connect's adtech & product team, by providing legal counsel on the development and launch of new ad products, and negotiating a variety of agreements, including with vendors, advertisers, and media publishers/platforms.

What you'll do...
  • Use your negotiation skills to advise on, review, draft, and negotiate agreements in support of new and existing advertising and digital media products.
  • Provide product counseling related to any new data/tech products and services to be launched by the business.
  • Be the trusted advisor who responds promptly to complex legal requests, coordinating with the team and outside counsel to deliver practical, timely, and high-quality advice.
  • Use your problem-solving skills to identify and assess business and legal risks, finding innovative ways to mitigate them while achieving product and transactional goals.
  • Build strong relationships to facilitate a coordinated team approach to launching new products and features.

What you'll bring:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of legal and transactional experience, preferably with adtech, advertising, digital media, and/or technology experience.
  • Have product counseling experience within the adtech/digital media field.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating strategic digital media inventory partnerships, as well as ad measurement, data clean room, and DSP/SSP agreements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work practically and quickly to evaluate risk, solve problems, and make decisions that balance risk, opportunity, and business objectives.
