Summary Description: Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate to join its Corporate Services Group in either our St. Louis or Kansas City office. The ideal candidate should possess experience in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, joint ventures, development, and construction of real property.Associates have an exciting opportunity to learn from and work closely with energetic, highly experienced practitioners in a friendly, cooperative environment.

- Work will involve real estate transactions, including the acquisition, sale, leasing, financing, development and construction of real property; development and financing incentives, redevelopment and special purpose districts in administrative procedures; and loan transactions.
- Simultaneously handles the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion
- Possess strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients
- Demonstrates an ability to work independently and productively and show a strong interest in advancing a career in a transactional practice

Required Education: Juris Doctor
Preferred Education: N/A
Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Licensed to practice law in good standing in Missouri, or in a jurisdictions where the Firm conducts business until they are admitted to practice in Missouri; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements
Preferred Experience: 4+ years' experience in real estate, including experience in real estate leasing, development, acquisition, purchase and sale transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills and experience managing a variety of transactions.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Indirect - actively utilizes support staff or junior associates to ensure client satisfaction
Physical Activity: The employee will be required to sit (or utilize a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer
Travel Required: Less than 10%
