The Atlanta office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz, P.C. seeks an associate with 1-4 years of bankruptcy and workout experience to join its Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice group. Experience in transactional and commercial matters, or litigation matters, is a plus. The position involves representing various different parties in bankruptcy and insolvency matters. The position will also include general outside counsel work, assisting Baker Donelson clients on commercial, litigation, and related matters, outside of insolvency work. This is a terrific opportunity to gain sophisticated hands-on experience in a thriving practice. We seek academically distinguished applicants who have excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills. Practicing lawyers lacking any substantive bankruptcy experience should not apply. Third year law students with demonstrated coursework and writing on bankruptcy matters and bankruptcy law clerks will also be considered.
