Job Description:Miles & Stockbridge, P.C., a mid-Atlantic based Am Law 200 firm, seeks a mid-level or senior-level corporate finance associate with significant secured financing experience to join its Corporate Group, residing in our Baltimore, DC, Tysons or Richmond offices.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in secured debt transactions, including acquisition financings, mezzanine loans, and asset-based credit facilities involving lenders, corporate borrowers and sponsors. However, we will consider someone with 3 full years of secured financing experience who has, or demonstrates the ability to, second-chair deals. Candidates must possess sound working knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC.
Candidates must have strong analytical, written and oral communication skills; be organized, diligent and detail-oriented; and demonstrate an ability to work independently and productively as part of a deal team. We require a J.D. from an accredited law school and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service. Maryland, Virginia, or D.C. Bar admission (or eligibility to be admitted on motion) is required.

Base Compensation: $210,000+
