As a Transactional Corporate Counsel for Project Kuiper, you'll be at the forefront of transforming global connectivity through state-of-the-art satellite and networking technology.
You'll be the legal expert enabling Amazon's ambitious mission to build and launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide broadband access to communities that have been digitally isolated. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience with complex commercial/legal concepts and drafting, ability to quickly read and interpret legal terminology and reasoning
- Knowledge of intellectual property rights
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
- Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing
- Experience working cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, innovative environments
