We're seeking a Corporate Counsel with 2–5 years of post-JD/licensure experience, ideally in a law firm or in-house environment, to join our team in Plano, Texas This role will be our third attorney and play a key role in supporting our business operations by managing our contract lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in traditional software licensing and equipment sales, with more recent exposure to SaaS (Software as a Service) and/or HaaS (Hardware as a Service) contracting. Any related work in B2B (Business to Business) or B2G (Business to Government) commercial contracting is preferred. . What You'll Do (Your Key Responsibilities)
Contract Management (Primary Focus):
- Review, draft, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of commercial contracts, with a focus on and HaaS agreement.
- Own the contract workflow process, collaborating closely with our Contracts Manager and Contracts Administrator to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and other departments to facilitate deal flow and align contract terms with business goals.
- Identify legal risks and propose practical solutions while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Provide timely and practical legal guidance on day-to-day operational matters.
- Support internal clients by communicating legal concepts clearly and constructively.

What We're Looking For (Your Qualifications)
Experience & Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school and a license to practice law in the U.S.
- 2-5 years of legal experience with strong preference for candidates with law firm or in-house experience in commercial contracting.
- Familiarity with SaaS and/or HaaS agreements is a plus.
