We offer innovative, secure, and flexible storage options to meet our clients' needs. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a strategic and business-savvy Corporate Counsel to join our team. This role will provide comprehensive legal support across litigation, employment, compliance, and commercial transactions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about contributing to our company's overall business objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel across litigation, customer disputes, and day-to-day business operations.
- Advise on labor and employment matters, including conflict resolution and workplace policies.
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic legal guidance aligned with business goals.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, commercial agreements, and vendor relationships
- Support marketing, PR, and corporate communications from a legal perspective.
- Assist with corporate governance, Board support, and audit compliance
- Monitor regulatory developments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage relationships with external counsel and oversee outside legal matters.
- Counsel executives on legal risks, regulatory obligations, and compliance initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and ensure adherence to federal and state laws, particularly in construction-related areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess project risks and support document execution.
- Lead internal compliance programs and liaise with cross-functional departments.
Education and Qualifications:
- Active U.S. state bar license
- 3–7+ years of litigation experience, including labor, employment, and commercial contracts.
- Prior in-house counsel experience preferred, especially in commercial transactions and compliance.
- Strong understanding of CA, AZ, TX, CO employment law and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to support internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity
- Collaborative mindset and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license required for occasional business travel
