About the Team:
The Rubrik corporate legal team is looking for an energetic and talented corporate attorney with a passion for working on corporate securities, transactions and compliance matters and driving business in a fast-paced in-house environment. This position reports to Rubrik's Senior Director, Corporate Legal and is located in Rubrik's HQ (Palo Alto). Rubrik has a hybrid remote work policy and requires 3 days in the office for non-remote employees.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare and review SEC filings, such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, registration statements, and Section 16 reporting, including Forms 3, 4, and 5.
  • Advise on compliance with public company rules and regulations, including the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, stock exchange listing standards, and Delaware law.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters, including board and committee materials and meetings and governance for Rubrik's international subsidiaries.
  • Offer legal support for corporate transactions such as M&A and capital markets transactions, including financings, restructurings, credit facilities, stock repurchases, and debt offerings.
  • Implement new corporate legal workflows and processes using AI technology
  • Manage outside counsel and internal cross-functional stakeholders in connection with complex corporate projects.

Experience you'll need:

  • Post-graduate legal degree and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
  • 3+ years of corporate legal experience at a top law firm or in-house, with in-house experience or supporting in-house clients strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated passion for AI technology, with experience creatively using AI technology and agents to make legal tasks more efficient, scalable, and business-friendly
  • Comfort and familiarity working with business and other non-legal stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently with excellent business judgment and strategic thinking
  • Ability to prioritize and manage business expectations in a fast-paced environment

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
