Introduction:A Network Management Provider Company is hiring for Corporate Counsel-- this is an opportunity for a true builder to create the legal function at a thriving fast-growth startup. You'll work closely with our Sales and Go-to-Market teams as this role has a large contracts/commercial focus. Our success in the market depends on large complex deals with Healthcare payers and providers, necessitating impeccable judgement, pragmatic risk assessment, and fast-paced work to come to favorable terms on both sides. About You:
- 5+ years experience
- Experience in technology and commercial transactions
- Skilled at assessing real-world risk and negotiating in fast-paced situations
- A mix of both startup/in-house and law firm is ideal
- Excitement about building a function at a fast-growth startup, including organization and creating process
- Ability to shift focus depending on evolving business priorities
- Experience with Enterprise Software-as-a-Service contracts
- Data or Health Tech experience is a nice-to-have
Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day legal function at A Network Management Provider Company
- Provide concise and commercially astute counsel to A Network Management Provider Company's growing Go-to-Market team
- Draft, negotiate and review a broad range of commercial, revenue-generating contracts, including master service agreements and data and technology licensing agreements
- Analyze legal risks across the company and devise creative solutions
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with executives in all company departments
- Review, manage, maintain, and update company legal templates and facilitate their consistent use
- Support continuous improvements of forms, policies, and processes to help streamline and simplify deals and product/service terms
- Support our internal procurement process by reviewing agreements for vendors, ad sales partners, events and other contracts related to other company initiatives and events
- Managing and delegating work to outside counsel where appropriate, and shifting their responsibilities over time
