A Multi-Cryptocurrency ATM Network Company is seeking a Corporate Counsel who will report to the General Counsel and manage various in-house legal projects for the company. As the third attorney on the legal team, this position will work cross-functionally with A Multi-Cryptocurrency ATM Network Company accounting team, compliance team, human resources and other internal teams. The ideal candidate will contribute both at hands-on and strategic levels. This role is remote. Mountain or Pacific time is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate contracts and other commercial agreements on behalf of our business. Anticipate problems and ensure all vital commercial legal key terms and language are included in contracts to appropriately mitigate risk.
  • Partner with internal teams to recommend, develop, and continuously improve standard methodologies and procedures for a consistent, compliant, and efficient contracting process. This includes playbooks and company standard form agreements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner by building relationships with, providing counsel and guidance to internal partners to accomplish the company's overall business objectives.
  • Manage the legal requirements of expansion in to various countries; including the creation of legal entities and partnership with local legal firms.
  • Resolve contract issues efficiently.
  • Support legal engagement process for internal teams.
  • Perform contract analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in or interest and willingness to work with foreign regulations including working with the Company's operations in Australia and Canada.
  • Experience in managing various stages of litigation, including management of strategy and of outside counsel.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Interest in learning about Bitcoin or alternative finance.
  • Ability to manage and drive projects through various departments.
  • 2+ years of experience.
