Description:We are seeking a talented attorney to support the rapid growth and evolution of Amazon Ads. You will work directly with your business partners on a broad range of product matters relating to emerging technologies.
Principal duties will include:
- Helping launch innovative new products and services.
- Conducting legal review of program features, and customer-facing launch plans.
- Structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, ranging from standard commercial contracts to strategic deals.
- Resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, including data use and privacy.
- Handling regulatory contacts and advising on regulatory matters.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of legal experience
- 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent

- Can distill complex legal issues into clear, concise business guidance
- Can use AI for legal research, contract analysis, or document review experience
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
