Corporate Collections Attorney Position Summary:
We are looking to fill out the position of Corporate Collections Attorney in our office located in Sunrise, FL. Benefits offered for the position: Health Insurance {100% premium paid by company}, Paid vacations, 401(k), Flexible Spending (FSA) and more.
Essential Functions:
- Perform legal collections for the company.
- Successful negotiation settlement agreements.
- Help prepare for arbitrations.
- Prepare and Attend mediations.
- Analyze and draft business leases, contracts, mortgages, and closing documents.
- Negotiate and litigate the company's contract disputes, including employment and advertising.
- Manage legal team and Operations.
- Manger Team Metrics and KPIs.
Experience, and Skills Required:
- 1+ year' experience working in collections.
- Work as part of a global team.
- Strong analytical and interpretational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to perform well under stringent deadline pressure.
- Prior experience with document review, eDiscovery, or contract extraction and/or review.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Managerial Experience.
- Ability to make decisions and make suggestions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and JD.
- Active Bar License in Florida.
