We are seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team, with specialized focus on U.S. Employment Law , Global Litigation Management and Product Liability matters. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, managing legal risks, supporting internal business units, and defending the company's interests globally. This is a Remote Position based in EST or CST Time Zones with preference residing close to one of our major facilities in the United States-Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, New Prague, MN, New Iberia, LA, Windsor, CT, Tulsa, OK, La Crosse, WI

What Will You Do?
Employment Law (United States):
  • Provide day-to-day counsel to HR and management on federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, Title VII, etc.).
  • Draft and review employment agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks, and policies.
  • Oversee internal investigations related to employee complaints, harassment, discrimination, and other workplace issues.
  • Manage employment-related claims and litigation, including EEOC and DOL matters.

Global Litigation & Dispute Resolution:
  • Manage and coordinate global litigation strategy across various jurisdictions, including commercial, contractual, product liability, and employment-related matters.
  • Collaborate with and oversee outside counsel worldwide.
  • Support internal discovery, document retention, and e-discovery processes.
  • Analyze litigation risk and advise business leaders on proactive risk mitigation.

Product Liability:
  • Advise on regulatory and legal compliance for product safety across U.S. and international markets.
  • Provide legal guidance related to product design, warnings, recalls, and customer claims.
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to assess risk and prevent liability exposure.

Your Education and Experience Should Be
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience in a corporate legal department and/or reputable law firm.
  • Strong background in U.S. employment law and global litigation management.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial gas, or energy sectors is preferred.
