Job Description:Corporate Attorney
CJK Group is seeking a full time corporate attorney to support the CJK legal team as we advance our mission to grow and strengthen CJK Group and its affiliated business units across the print, content services, automotive, and technology industries.
This role reports directly to the Chief Legal Officer and will work closely with both the legal team and business leaders across the CJK platform. It is a high impact position within a collaborative team at an innovative company grounded in an entrepreneurial spirit.
The Position:
The corporate attorney will support corporate activities for CJK Group legal entities globally. Core responsibilities include leading contract drafting and administration, as well as helping develop and maintain the company's contract management solution. This role will partner with multiple business units to structure, organize, update, and oversee key components of the contracting process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support the legal contract intake process
- Assist the legal and sales teams with responses to prospective customer proposals
- Draft and update standard templates (MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, NDAs, Licensing Agreements) that reflect company wide terms, modern legal standards, and practical flexibility for business unit needs
- Provide legal guidance during negotiations when nonstandard clauses, risk allocation, or regulatory concerns arise
- Ensure compliance with privacy, data protection, and information security requirements including GDPR, CCPA, and ISO 27001 aligned commitments
- Draft and negotiate Data Processing Agreements and related privacy or security exhibits with customers and subcontractors
- Train business units and contract administrators on contracting procedures, escalation protocols, and risk identification
- Upload fully executed contracts into the contracts database and tag key provisions for search functionality
- Respond to routine corporate customer requests under existing template agreements
- Summarize existing and new agreements and support or lead negotiations for contract renewals
- Maintain centralized contract databases or CRM systems
- Prepare standard template sales agreements and support efforts to streamline the contracting process
- Conduct due diligence and contract review in connection with acquisitions
- Support the CJK legal team and Chief Legal Officer on additional matters as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed attorney with strong academic credentials
- A minimum of five to ten years of legal experience supporting operations for U.S. companies
- Experience with U.S. corporate, commercial, or contract law is preferred
- Knowledge of corporate governance principles and regulatory frameworks is highly valued
- Strong contract law knowledge and commercial drafting skills
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing high volumes of documents and projects through technology platforms, with preference for experience in Monday dot com, Ironclad, or ContractWorks
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with internal clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a global legal team while maintaining high ethical standards
Compensation:
Salary range for this role is $100,000 to $160,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, and additional employee programs.
Physical Demands:
- This role is largely sedentary; however, standing, bending, sitting, or stooping may occasionally be required
- Travel of up to twenty percent may be required
