Varnum LLP seeks to hire an Attorney to join our busy and growing Corporate Practice Team. Title will be determined based upon background and experience. The successful candidate will practice out of Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo. We are excited to offer this opportunity to join a thriving practice and a respected, successful group of attorneys at one of Michigan's premier law firms.Our new hire will assist the team in business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private offerings, capital restructuring, and similar transactions. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of legal experience, with law firm experience strongly preferred. Expertise is required in general corporate work, contract review and drafting, and merger and acquisition transactions.
Successful candidates will possess excellent academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness; exceptional attention to detail; and outstanding customer/client service skills. Admission to the Michigan bar is preferred, but not required.
