Our Seattle (https://careers.wsgr.com/office/seattle/) office is seeking a corporate (https://careers.wsgr.com/practice/corporate/https://careers.wsgr.com/practice/corporate/https://careers.wsgr.com/practice/corporate/) associate with 4-6 years of relevant corporate experience, particularly in one or more of the following areas: capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital, with a focus on representing emerging growth technology and life sciences companies.

The candidate will have the opportunity to advise clients throughout their full life cycle, from incorporation to exit, often serving as outside general counsel. This includes day-to-day counseling and direct interaction with management teams, negotiating and advising companies and investors in equity financings, and guiding clients through strategic transactions and acquisitions.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment, and who is an energetic and creative problem-solver. While a technical or science degree is not required, a genuine interest in new technology and life sciences and in being part of the team helping these new technologies and life sciences companies develop and entrepreneurs thrive is important.

Superior academic credentials, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range of $310,000 – $390,000, based on year classification.
  • Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
