Overview:Nelson Mullins law firm is looking to add a mid- to senior-level energy regulatory associate to its Energy, Environmental and Projects Team. This position is preferably open to the Charlotte, Columbia, D.C., and Houston offices, but is open to any Nelson Mullins office location. As an AmLaw100 firm, this is a unique opportunity to join an expanding practice that offers a range of litigation services to clients in a variety of industries.

Nelson Mullins' energy attorneys provide clients with a wide array of skills and experience, market knowledge, regulatory understanding, and broad industry relationships. The Energy, Environmental and Projects team have represented energy clients on energy transactions, energy regulatory matters, and energy policy throughout the United States, including at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and at state utility commissions. We Know You:
You are an energy regulatory attorney with meaningful experience with issues involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) or state utility commissions interested in joining a growing practice serving renewable energy developers, independent power producers, data centers, and private equity firms that will provide the opportunity for quality training and direct client exposure. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills and have strong academic credentials.
Required Qualifications:
At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
The salary/wage range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
