Overview:Are you looking to join a dynamic team at an AmLaw100 firm? An AmLaw100 Firm is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Emerging Companies/Venture Capital team in Atlanta.
A day in the life:
You will be joining a team of attorneys who consistently score top rankings in Global League Tables for representation of fast-growing venture-backed technology and life sciences companies and the funds that invest in them. The team is largely based in Atlanta, Miami and New York City, but has a global practice.
The Atlanta office itself is located at Atlantic Station, a brownfield reclamation and mixed-used development that houses everyday amenities including alternative transportation options within walking distance. Want to know more about the Atlanta office? Check out the office here.

We Know You:
You have at least two years of meaningful corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting. A background in Mergers and Acquisitions, Venture Capital Financings, or Private Equity Financings and Acquisitions is required, and you have experience with general corporate transactions and corporate governance. With strong writing, analytical, and communications skills, you excelled academically. You are a member in Good Standing of the State Bar of Georgia.
