Description:
The focus of this position is to function as a corporate resource and liaison for the sales and delivery groups to conclude contracts for sales opportunities. This is a temporary part-time opportunity with a minimum anticipated duration of 6 months in length and an average schedule of 15 hours per week.Responsibilities:
- Define and update language for “standard contracts” as required. Liaise with key stakeholders re key content points.
- Participate in the contract negotiation process with DDI's clients (e.g., determining how to integrate client's language with DDI language, contract execution)
- Work with and educate sales and delivery groups to develop their contracting skills and business acumen.
- Review contracts for DDI leased space and other significant agreements as required.
- Liaise with outside counsel.
- Act as advisor on general legal issues
Requirements:

- Law degree (JD) required, MBA a plus.
- At least five years' experience with corporate contract law, preferably in a service environment; may consider a litigator with significant commercial contracts or intellectual property litigation experience.
- Experience reviewing contracts for legal issues.
- Technology understanding and savvy; basic Word skills required.
- Desire to learn DDI's business and work as part of a team.
- Business orientation (enable sales, not prevent)
