Description:

We are seeking a part-time Associate Attorney (approximately 10-20 hours/week) with 1–3 years of experience to assist in both our construction and entertainment practice areas. The position is primarily remote, though court appearances, depositions, and occasional in-person meetings will be required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop hands-on experience in two dynamic practice areas. The position offers the potential for growth into a full-time role.

  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence in state and federal matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis for litigation and transactional matters.
  • Assist with contract drafting, negotiation, and review (particularly in entertainment-related deals).
  • Handle rights clearances and licensing for samples, cover songs and other third party materials
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances as needed.
  • Negotiate talent, performance, touring and endorsement agreements for artists and producers
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff professionally and efficiently.
  • Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing of the Georgia State Bar
  • 1–3 years of experience in civil litigation (experience in construction or entertainment law a plus).
  • Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
