Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Litigation Attorneys to join our legal team on a contract basis. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to commercial law, personal injury law, workers compensation. This role requires proactive individuals who can effectively research, negotiate, and litigate cases on behalf of our clients while ensuring compliance with all legal standards.

Duties:

Represent clients in court and during legal proceedings, including trials and hearings.
Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as Lexis-Nexis to prepare for cases.
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Stay updated on changes in legislation and regulations relevant to various areas of law.
Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to strategize case management.
Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under the law.
Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.

Skills:

Proficiency in commercial law, personal injury law and workers compensation.
Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
Excellent negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients' interests.
Proven ability to litigate cases with confidence and professionalism.
Familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
