About the Job:A Recycling Center is in growth mode and currently seeking a Contract Enforcement Attorney to join our fast-growing team! You will have the opportunity to be mentored by a former Supreme Court Justice and State Senator!
Responsibilities:
- Contract enforcement
- Make telephone calls to settle opposing contract breaches
- File summons and complaints
- Draft settlements and default judgments
- Occasionally appear in court
- Move complex matters to Senior Counsel
Qualifications:
- Permitted to practice law in New York State
- Minimum 1 year of contract enforcement
- Fluent understanding of electronic filing via NYSCEF
- This is role requires onsite work from 8:00am - 5:00pm. Our offices are located at 17 Court Street, Buffalo, NY.
