Solo practitioner whose practice areas include personal injury(65%), employment related matter (30%) and some simple Probate and estate planning (5%) is looking to hire a contract attorney/independent contractor to assist in new client interviews; case preparation such as drafting pleadings, discovery requests, records requests; and also to cover simple court proceedings such as case management and scheduling conferences.The position is in a high demand and fast paced environment. Applicants must have excellent organization skills, must also be able to communicate well, problem solve, conduct research, work efficiently, and independently with limited supervision. Must be a licensed attorney in Missouri and (willing to obtain Kansas bar license) if a good fit.
