Faegre Drinker is seeking an associate with three to six years of construction-related transactional experience to join its nationally recognized Construction and Infrastructure Transactions practice in one of the following offices: Boulder, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Des Moines, Fort Wayne (IN), Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New York, or Princeton (NJ). Our team drafts and negotiates sophisticated contracts, including EPC agreements, design-build documents, alternative delivery contracts, supply and purchase agreements, service and engineering agreements, and consulting agreements, for large-scale energy, transportation, and industrial infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated proficiency independently drafting and negotiating these contract types, with hands-on experience advising on risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, bonding, and other critical commercial terms. Excellent legal writing skills, strong academic credentials, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary project teams are required. This is a high-responsibility role within a collaborative, fast-paced practice handling matters of national significance for institutional clients. The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $180,000 – $315,000.
Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law. The initial salary range listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for attorneys, which includes, but is not limited to, productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
