Troutman Pepper Locke's Construction practice group is seeking an associate with 2 to 5 years of experience to be based in the Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will have construction and/or real estate related experience representing parties on complex projects such as airports, data centers, sports stadiums, hospitals, high-rise construction, commercial multifamily, industrial, and other major mixed-use developments.This is an opportunity to represent clients in a national practice and participate immediately in sophisticated matters. Our teams are structured to allow associates to assume more responsibility and receive a high level of partner and client contact. Our group is comprised of team players who are supportive and invested in helping associates develop throughout their careers.
Candidates must be confident and comfortable working with clients daily. They must also have an elevated attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex construction documents such as design build agreements, construction management agreements, design agreements and other project related agreements, collaborating with clients to understand their business objectives, providing strategic legal guidance during the design and construction of projects, and managing transactions through close.
The salary range for this position is $235,000 - $310,000 dependent on relevant years of experience.
