Rosing Pott & Strohbehn is an elite boutique law firm concentrating in complex litigation, professional liability and white-collar criminal defense, business and intellectual property litigation, ethics and business advisement, and appellate and administrative actions. With headquarters in San Diego, RPS is a growing firm that services clients throughout California and Arizona. RPS has an immediate need for an experienced litigation attorney licensed to practice in California and/or Arizona. We are pleased to offer flexibility with on-site, hybrid, and remote working arrangement options.Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and memoranda.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel.
- Work closely with partners and colleagues on case strategy and trial preparation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree and current good standing with CA and/or AZ State bar.
- 3–6+ years of relevant substantive complex litigation experience (e.g., professional liability, commercial, intellectual property, etc.).
- Strong legal research, advocacy, and motion practice experience (including drafting demurrers, MSJs, oppositions, and other substantive briefs).
- Ability to independently handle multiple cases while working collaboratively within a partner-driven team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with legal assistants, paralegals, partners, and clients.
- High level of professionalism, judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive or high-exposure cases.
- Comfort working in a cloud-based, modern legal tech environment (NetDocs, Clio, etc.).
