Responsibilities:
Orrick's Compensation & Benefits practice is seeking a compensation and benefits associate with two to four years of experience focused on the compensation and benefits aspects of complex corporate transactions and day-to-day counseling of emerging growth companies. We are ideally seeking candidates with experience and/or a desire to work with growth-stage technology and life sciences companies and investors; experience advising on qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans is a plus but not required. Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials along with superior oral and written communication, logical reasoning, research, and organizational skills.

We are recognized for our single-point-of-contact approach, proactive counsel, and seamless collaboration with client teams.

Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience at a peer law firm, exceptional academic credentials, and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Membership to the State Bar of the office of the state in which the candidate expects to be located is required.
