Position Summary:
Berlin Patten Ebling is seeking a Community Association Attorney with experience advising condominium and homeowner associations. This role focuses on providing practical legal guidance to association boards on governance, compliance, and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise condominium and homeowner association boards on compliance with Florida statutes and regulations.
- Draft, review, and amend governing documents, including covenants, bylaws, rules, and amendments.
- Prepare and review contracts and association-related legal documents.
- Assist clients with dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration.
- Counsel boards on governance, elections, and enforcement matters.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of legal practice experience (community association or real estate law preferred)
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Education & Licensure
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
