The primary emphasis will be providing legal support to our condominium, cooperative and homeowners' association clientele. While community association experience is preferred, a similar practice area experience will be considered for candidates willing to study and learn the applicable law.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing community association issues and drafting legal opinions
- Client relations
- Interpreting and drafting amendments to governing documents
- Preparing for and attending board and membership meetings
- Case law Research
- Reviewing and modifying service contracts
- Enforcement of governing documents
Education and Experience:
- Florida Bar Member
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience. Although 1–3 years is preferred, this is not a strict range, and applicants with more experience are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Community Association/HOA is not required.
- Successful candidates must have excellent skills in the areas of client relations.
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
